A Call to Church Plant

It is our desire that this be a place where you can come to see what God is doing in our lives on a daily basis. In August of 06 God began to open our eyes to the great need for the Gospel in our nation. As we sought the Lord and His will for our lives it became clear that He was calling us to join and play a major part in a movement that seeks to plant young, missional, Gospel-centered Churches that will seek the transformation of a city and eventually a culture. At this moment, it is a vision. It is a dream in our hearts and, we fully believe, a dream in the heart of God.

Chaim Joshua Oldham

On January 10th, 2011 we found out that we are going to be having a baby boy!

Chaim Joshua Oldham

We actually fell in love with this name a while ago. Chaim means life in Hebrew. Joshua (Hebrew Yeshua) means Jesus so the verse that Noah claimed as his life verse is Psalm 49:7-15 which teaches us that because of our sin, each one of us have earned eternal separation from God. But through Jesus (Hebrew Yeshua...Joshua) God ransoms the life (Chaim) of sinners. Basically Chaim Joshua is a picture of the Gospel and what Jesus has done for us.

After walking through the pain and suffering of a miscarriage I loved the idea of celebrating the life that God has blessed us with. I can not wait to meet our little miracle and praise God for the blessing he has entrusted to us. I am so thankful to know that had we not walked through the valley we would not be able to meet you. What a reward on the other end of a long, tough journey! May God continue to use your life in a mighty way to bless those who ever know you. I love you my baby boy and so does your daddy and big sister!
