HK's 4th Birthday Party - June 5th 2010

The first weekend in June we went to Eldorado to celebrate my niece Hallie Kate's 4th Birthday with family.  I can't believe HK is 4!  It makes me sad cause I remember holding her the day she was born and it seems like yesterday.. this makes it that much more of a reality that tomorrow I am going to turn around and my baby will be 4.. not literally but you get what I mean.  I have already started planning her 1st birthday party.  AHH!

So Allie LOVES tea sets, or really anything with cups and spoons involved. So here she is stealing HK's birthday present to make sure that her slobber and germs cover it all.  My mom gave her my old toy tea set when we were in Florida and this is one of her favorite things to play with.  That and the fake cup cakes... but more on that later.

These next couple pics crack me up cause you can see how young it starts.  Allie is watching HK's every move only to try to do exactly what she is doing.  Hallie Kate you better watch out... you will forever have little eyes on you!

 Allie LOVES the water.  I think she would live in it if I would let her.  She gets so excited everytime we go swimming that I don't know how we can not live somewhere that has a pool next summer!  Thankfully we have gotten to raid some of our friends pools this summer...

  

Allie even got to try watermelon for the first time this past month.  She loves being able to try new things if it means that she can make a complete mess while feeding herself. 

She loved KB's pool because the kiddy pool was shallow enough that she could touch the bottom and walk around on her own in her raft.  She has become quite the independent little girl...

August Gate has its first Baptism!

 So I am more than a little behind on posts.  Our month of June was insane we not only had something every weekend but almost every day!  AHH  I feel like I need to sleep for a month just to catch up.  But July is almost here and well it is almost as crazy so here we go.  First I wanted to let you all in on an amazing night not only in Noah and my life but in the life of August Gate.  On May 30th, 2010 we had our first baptism.  This was such a beautiful night to be apart of as Missy Roark was baptized visually expressing her love for Jesus in front of friends and family.  The night was truly amazing and reminded my once again why we are here.  God is using us in an amazing way and we have only just begun.  Thank you for all of your prayers, support and love.  May God continue to receive glory!

Brooke's Wedding

This past weekend we were in South Florida to watch my little sister get married.  I honestly can't believe that she is even old enough to think about getting married much less actually married; but she is now a married woman.  Congrats Brooke and Will!  Here are a few highlights from their special day.
