Allie's Birthday Weekend

So I guess this really starts off the weekend before but instead of doing a million different posts we are going to make it all one.. ok? :)
The weekend before Allie's birthday and party Noah and I figured we were due for a little get away without the "baby" for the first time since she was born.  We talked Nana into coming up a week early to stay with Allie, yeah we really didn't have to twist her arm.  So while we were having some quality time in Louisville, Allie was having some quality time with Nana.  She had a great time... they did all kinds of fun stuff including going to the magic house.  This was Allie's first time and you can tell from the pics she was able to get a whole lot more into it than I even thought she would.

Allie at the magic house playing with magnets

 shopping
playing house and taking care of her "baby"
she took a little time to read a book

They also went down to feed the ducks at Lafayette Park several times

This is Allie's idea of feeding the ducks.... this girls appetite has tripled in the last few weeks she wants to eat everything in sight!

It got cooler this past weekend which was fun because we could break into some of her new fall clothes

Allie also got to try spaghetti for the first time and LOVED it.
She ate everything I gave her and wanted more!!

Finally Aunt Brooke, Uncle Brandon and Papa all got here on Thursday night and she was the life of the party for everyone's entertainment pleasure.

Playing with Aunt Brooke

On Friday we went to the zoo,  I have to say I enjoy the zoo much more when it is 68 degrees out vs 95+ which is what it has been the last several times I have been there.  Allie got the royal treatment this trip was pretty much all for her...

 Papa pushing the stroller

Ready to see some animals especially the penguins because that is what she dressed for today!

As you can see the hippo came right up to the glass where we had Allie's stroller.  This totally freaked her out she thought he was going to get her.

 Our cute little family

A little scared again by the fish... notice the bottom lip puckered.  She does fine from a distance but didn't want to get too close to anything.
 Finally the penguins!!

Then it was time to check out the monkeys with Uncle B

And here is our whole zoo crew!

Later that evening we met up with my Uncle JC, Aunt Linda, and cousin Blake and went to the Cardinals game.  This was Allie's very first cardinals game she even got a certificate!

What do you know here is a pic of me and my hubby!  These are few and far between these days.
Love you babe :)

Here Allie is having her morning coffee with Papa.. this has become a morning ritual at our house and Allie takes her tea pot and gives everyone refills when you need them.
Looks like papa needed some of her coffee

Saturday was the party (but I designated an entire post to that so I will just mention it for flow here)

and Sunday was her actual birthday.  Here she is finishing waking up with daddy so she
 can open more presents.
She got a table and chairs and a new tea set from Nana and Papa

Time for a tea party with Nana and Daddy

She got lime green and hot pink Converse tennis shoes from Aunt Brooke and Uncle Will as well as some gamecocks gear

She got a little people car with a momma and baby to go with her little people doll house from Momma and daddy
and..

a stroller for her new baby doll.  We also got her a toy chest for her room but that isn't pictured :)
The 3 of us Sunday night at AG
trying to get a good pic... oh that is getting harder to do these days.
 My little birthday girl!
 with Nana

The whole crew who shared a 1250 sq ft 2 bedroom apartment for almost a week :)  GOOD TIMES!

That night we went out to dinner after church and when we were finished with dinner they brought Allie a dessert for her birthday!  It was deep fried cheesecake with carmel and chocolate all over it and whip cream on top she went after it!  She was nice enough to share a bite with everyone at the table.  It was really good!

The next morning Uncle B tried to teach Allie that you have to stick your pinki out when you drink tea. She just thought he was funny

She had fun just getting to play with all her presents.

She even sat still when Uncle Brandon wanted to "style" her hair.

But these are probably my favorite pics from the weekend.  Allie got a baby doll from Uncle Nick and Aunt T and she LOVES it!!!  She says OOOOH  everytime she sees it like it is the first time all over again.  She has wanted to take it to bed a few times and this is what I find...

Yes we have had an amazing birthday weekend now I need a nap!
